Newly Crowned Beauty Queen, Nazlie Mojiri, Announces the Launch of Her Campaign, “Bringing Out Beauty in Texas,” A Campaign Driven Towards Raising Awareness and Funds with a Series of Events and Projects to Motivate the Community to Unite with Confidence to Build a More Beautiful Texas.

Dallas, TX, Sept. 13, 2011 /Krista Kelley PR/ - - Last week, Dallas’ own, Nazlie Mojiri, recently crowned Miss Dallas U.S. 2012, launched her campaign, “Bringing Out Beauty in Texas.” The title holder’s campaign is centered on children and the community. She has several upcoming events and activities planned that aim to build teamwork, confidence, awareness, and acceptance, while empowering others-especially children, to make an impact in their community.

Initiating her campaign on Sept. 6, 2011, Miss Dallas U.S. 2012 led a patient activity at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas, where she warmed the hearts of a group of children undergoing treatment with a day of arts and crafts. The beauty queen worked hands on with each child, helping them create a one-of-a-kind, textured vase filled with brightly colored flowers. Using a combination of strategically placed masking tape and old-fashioned, tin can shoe polish, the patients turned clear plastic bottles into finely crafted, “leather-like” textured vases, customized for their special bouquet of flowers. With busy hands crafting and little mouths chatting, amongst the patience, they were able to take their mind off of their current medical treatment to enjoy a unique, kid-friendly craft with a local celebrity. Miss Dallas was not the only one flashing a winning smile that day, as one-on-one time with the crown holder, was the prescription for ear-to-ear grins from the patients.

Miss Dallas U.S. 2012 proudly announces, “Beauty comes in various forms and fashions. I’m passionate about making a difference in the community and in the lives of children. I want to give the eyes and ears of Texas something different to behold and appreciate.” Off to a great start, Miss Dallas U.S. 2012 has an agenda filled with appearances, meet and greets, civic leader meetings, fund raising events, and charitable projects-all part of her campaign, “Bringing Out Beauty in Texas.”
