Coserv donates $30,000 to Lewisville Education Foundation
From staff reports
CoServ Electric donated $30,000 to the Lewisville Education Foundation, with Area Manager Tracee Elrod presenting the check at the foundation's board meeting.
"It's gratifying to partner with such a wonderful foundation that impacts the futures of our local youth," Elrod said. "It also underscores one of the seven principles of cooperatives--concern for the community."
"CoServ is pleased to be in a position where we can support academic endeavors in our communities," she added. "Whether it's awarding scholarships to our Members' students, delivering books and supplies to Adopt-A-School recipients, or sponsoring a solar-powered car at Liberty Christian School, CoServ believes in making a difference in the lives of local students."
