Early voting under way

Early voting in the upcoming The Colony City Council election began Monday. Up for election this year is Place 1 on the council. Candidates are Kirk Mikulec and Stephen R. Edwards Sr.
Early voting continues from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Saturday at any early voting site in Denton County, including the Denton County Government Center in The Colony, 6301 Main St. Early voting will also take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 7-8.
Election Day is May 12. On Election Day, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., voters will be required to vote at specific locations based on precinct numbers. Denton County recently revised precinct numbers in The Colony. New cards were scheduled to be mailed to voters last week.
Voters in Precincts 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023, and 2024 will vote at Camey Elementary School, 4949 Arbor Glen.
Voters in Precincts 2026 and 2027 will vote at the Denton County Government Center, 6301 Main St.
