Fourth of July crash results in fatality: Accident claims Frisco woman's life

Accident investigators with the Frisco Police Department's Traffic Unit responded to a major vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday, July 4, at approximately 10:03 a.m. The accident resulted in one fatality and four reported injuries.
Two vehicles, a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban and a 1999 Saturn Sedan, were involved in the wreck that occurred at the intersection of Custer Road and Ridge Creek Parkway.
The driver of the Saturn, 22-year-old Brooke Johnson of Frisco, died from her injuries at the hospital. The four passengers of the Suburban, who were not identified, were treated at the scene and not transported to the hospital. The wreck is currently under investigation.
