Marie (Soest) Green, died suddenly after a short illness.
She is survived by her three loving children, Alexandra, Christian and Austin Green of Flower Mound, TX. ; parents, George and Mary Soest SR.; sisters, Michele and Janet Soest of St. Louis, MO.; brother, George and Judy Soest Jr., of Owensville, MO.; nieces and nephews, Kelly (James), Danielle, Angela, Anthony, Benjamin, and Gabriel Soest; ex-spouse, A. Christian Green, M.D. of Colleyville, TX.; her pets, Gabby, Roxy and Mimi; and her many friends in Flower Mound and St. Louis.Marie was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. She attended Jewish Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1980. She has continued to work in nursing and was employed at Home Health Services of Dallas Texas.
Marie enjoyed her life, loved a good party, all types of music, traveled extensively, and volunteered in her spare time. She was known for her love of "bling" and feathers.
Special thanks to the many doctors, nurses and other health care professionals who provided great care to her from Methodist Hospital of Dallas, Ethicus, Baylor-Grapevine Hospital, Select Specialty Hospital, and Fresenius of Grapevine.
Services were held Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewisville, TX.
In lieu of flowers please donate to an Organ Donation Organization or the Humane Society of Flower Mound.
