Dr. Joe Carlo Piranio passed away Saturday, July 21 in Plano, TX.
Joe was born at home in Dallas, Texas in 1917.He graduated from Forest Ave High School, attended SMU in Dallas and Tulane University in New Orleans earning a degree of medicine.
Upon his return to the United States, he practiced as a pediatrician for 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Bettie Piranio.
He leaves behind his three children, two sons and one daughter and two grandchildren.
Visitation was Monday, July 23 at the First United Methodist Church of Celina from 7--9 p.m. with the funeral on Tuesday, July 24 at 2 p.m. Graveside services were at Cottage Hill Cemetery following the funeral. Funeral services were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home.
