Police calls for Aug. 20 - 27 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

Aug. 20

6:48 a.m. - Loose livestock in the 2800 block of South Preston Road. Loose bison, bison belong to Punk Carter. Bison put back inside pen.

1:35 p.m. - Minor accident in the 1000 block of Mellanie Lane. Reporting Person backed into another car, minor damage. Happened in driveway, no report. Officer advised RP how to download a blue form.

6:36 p.m. – Mental subject at the Pecan Street police station. No report per complainant. Reporting Person did not have her son, she left to go pick him up. She never returned.

8:41 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances in the 3400 block of North Preston Road. White Lexus SUV parked near front doors at high school. Officer spoke to teacher. They were unloading vehicle for school. No offense occurred.

8:59 p.m. – Major accident in the 100 block of North Preston Road. Major accident inside Prosper city limits. Assisted with traffic control.

9:39 p.m. - Injured intoxicated person in the 1800 block of Light Farms Way. Celina Fire Department transported subject to Centennial Hospital.

10:24 p.m. - Juvenile problem at New Mexico and Maple. Kids yelling and screaming. Unable to locate kids in area.

10:44 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 200 block of East Maple Street. White dog chasing children. Unable to locate dog.

10:56 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Lusitano Court. Kids running and yelling at lake. Unable to locate kids.

10:58 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Four teens playing around lake. Checked area, unable to locate.

Aug. 21

12:46 a.m. – Backup officer in the 400 block of South New Mexico Drive. Disturbance involving intoxicated male. Backup only, no offense, verbal only.

2:32 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle at County Roads 50 and 7. Vehicle blacked out on county road. Farmer was parking a field plow for the night. No offense occurred.

5:32 a.m. - Minor accident in the 1500 block of South Preston Road. Tuck is high centered in construction area. Daughter came and pulled truck out.

8:38 a.m. - 911 hangup in the 700 block of North Preston Road. System malfunction.

1:07 p.m. - Burglary in the 1300 block of Bateman Lane. Two doors missing from house under construction. Possible theft of two doors from construction home. Reporting Person was not sure if they were stolen or just didn't ship with the rest. Documentation only.

Aug. 22

1 a.m. - Open door in the 2600 block of Stallions. Open garage, contacted owner.

2:06 a.m. - Suspicious person in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Suspicious person in vehicle parked in car wash for no reason. RO observed vehicle pull in at car wash and sit for over 30 minutes without washing vehicle. Officer made contact with both parties. Parties were nervous and excited. Vehicle searched after officer found driver had a suspended driver's license. Officer found multiple pawn tickets from Dallas, Garland, etc. Documentation only.

12:24 p.m. - Motorist assist in the 3500 block of North Preston Road. Tuck with flat tire. Situation resolved.

8:19 p.m. - Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Group of boys by the pool about 4 min. ago. 5 to 6 white males, one Hispanic male, looked like they were up to no good. Made contact with six young males sitting and talking at the park bench next to the pool. Officer waited to make contact to see and listen if they were up to no good. Nothing observed. No report taken.

10:28 p.m. - Intoxicated person in the 600 block of East Sunset Boulevard. Reporting Person said there is a subject in a white Toyota Tundra drinking and offered to buy alcohol for minors, several male subjects. DUI minor, MIP alcohol, open container citations. Offense report.

Aug. 23

6:16 a.m. - Criminal mischief in the 100 block of Carter Ranch Road. Three juveniles throwing eggs at cars. Criminal citation issued. Officer located and took three white male juveniles into custody and released them to their parents.

11:21 a.m. - Loose livestock at County Road 83 and Frontier. Seven loose cows. Assisted Collin County sheriff with loose cows.

11:45 a.m. - Assist other agency at Farm-to-Market Road 2478 and County Road 1461. Assist Collin County Sheriff's office with a road rage call. Backup only.

8:36 p.m. - Reckless driver at Dallas Parkway and Farm-to-Market Road 428. Unable to locate.

9:05 p.m. - Disturbance in the 300 block of North Colorado Drive. Subjects outside sound like they are fighting. Assault family violence offense report.

Aug. 24

4 p.m. - Warrant service at Pecan Street police station. Walk-in warrant arrest. Arrest report.

5:40 p.m. – Suspicious person at New Mexico and Malone. Black motorcycle parked in open lot, white male walking around fence line. Driver was taking a break from riding. No offense occurred.

9:08 p.m. - Traffic hazard in the 200 block of East Malone Street. Railroad arm going up and down for no reason. Notified dispatch who contacted the railroad.

Aug. 25

8:04 a.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 12000 block of County Road 53. Vehicle parked in field, blacked out. Occupants were adults. No offense occurred.

7:39 a.m. – Juvenile problem in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Pool man says there are kids hanging out in the gazebo. Juveniles were gone when officer arrived. Reporting Person said he was told to call when he saw juveniles in the area. No offense occurred.

1:13 p.m. – Found property in the 400 block of South Colorado Drive. Reporting Person found a bike in his garage. Officer advised him we couldn't take it and that he could do what he wants with it.

2:36 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle in the 3400 block of Twin Lakes Drive. White truck setting in driveway of neighbor's house. Truck belonged to the neighbor. No offense occurred.

7:31 p.m. – Suspicious person in the 400 block of Palomino Trail. Street vender going door-to-door. Unable to locate.

7:35 p.m. – Backup officer in the 1400 block of North Preston Road. Cover with two-warrant arrest. Backup only, waited on licensed driver to get truck and passenger.

8:52 p.m. - Motorist assist in the 4200 block of South Preston Road. Stranded motorist, gave parties a ride to a friend's house. Situation resolved.

11:47 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at County Road 94 and Preston. White Ford parked on shoulder of road. Driver was letting his truck cool off.

Aug. 26

4:24 a.m. Assist other agency at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and Ripey. Assist Denton County with one-vehicle crash. Located crash, located one person in vehicle. Pilot Point EMS transported person to hospital.

4:51 a.m. – Assist other agency at Farm-to-Market Road 455 and Fritcher Meadows. Major accident, referred to another agency.

8:41 a.m. – Reckless driver at Preston and Frontier. White truck all over roadway. Officer was not able to catch up to the vehicle.

8:58 a.m. - Intoxicated persons in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Two juveniles stumbling while walking. Unable to locate.

3:17 p.m. – Criminal trespass in the 200 block of West Beech Street. Criminal trespass warning issued to suspect.

7:37 p.m. – Assist fire department in the 400 block of South Ohio Drive. Medical call, male having seizures. Backup only, male transported by Celina Fire Department.

8:31 p.m. - Driving while intoxicated in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Black Honda all over roadway. Driver fled accident. Caught driver short distance away. EMS transported him to a Frisco hospital. Driver was released from hospital and placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.

10:25 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 300 block of Tarpan Trail. Grass fire behind address. Officer spoke to homeowner. He advised fire was out and fire department can disregard.

11:13 p.m. - Disturbance in the 500 block of Winchester Drive. Reporting Person states there is a female screaming in the front yard. Both parties stated it was verbal only. Information report filed.
