Volleyball: Carroll, Creekview, Coppell sweep matches

Carroll coach Arthur Stanfield earns career win No. 900, Coppell, Creekview win via sweep
District foes didn't pose much opposition to a trio of local volleyball teams during the past week as Carroll, Coppell and Creekview each secured sweeps in their respective matches.
The Lady Dragons (31-3, 9-0 in District 4-5A) notched wins last Tuesday over Haltom (25-12, 25-16, 25-4) and Friday against Keller Timber Creek (25-11, 25-12, 25-10).
In the process, Carroll head coach Arthur Stanfield picked up career wins No. 902 and 903 after securing his 900th victory two weeks ago.
Creekview (22-12, 8-1 in District 10-4A), meanwhile, picked up a victory last Tuesday against Terrell (25-6, 25-9, 25-10) before topping Newman Smith Friday (25-9, 25-17, 26-24).
In District 5-5A, Coppell (36-2, 4-1) cruised past Denton Ryan last Tuesday (25-12, 25-4, 25-5) and followed with a sweep of Lewisville Friday (25-11, 25-9, 25-16).
