Winner of "Kick it With Katie" Promotion Announced

Ebby Halliday Realtors is pleased to announce that Rose White of Richardson will soon be traveling to New York City to see "Katie," the new talk show starring Katie Couric. Ms. White's name was drawn at random from hundreds of entrants eligible to win the Ebby Halliday-sponsored trip, which was part of the Dallas-based residential real estate firm's recent "Kick it With Katie" special promotion.
As part of the promotion, members of the public were encouraged to visit ebby.com to enter to win two tickets to a live taping of "Katie" in New York City, two night's hotel accommodations, round-trip airfare for two, an autographed "Katie" poster and $500 courtesy of Ebby Halliday Realtors.
"I am so excited to be going to New York," Ms. White said recently as she was congratulated by Mary Frances Burleson, president and CEO of Ebby Halliday Realtors. "I am thrilled to be taking my daughter, Lauren, on this fun trip. We love New York City."
The "Katie" show premiered in early September. Airing locally on WFAA-TV (Channel 8), the show is fun, informative, and serious at times as Katie Couric, the former host of the "Today" show and former managing editor of the "CBS Evening News," explores issues that people are talking about.
