STILL
Billie Jean Still
After an extended illness, our beloved mother, Billie Jean Still, went to be with the Lord January 12, 2013.
She was a mother, wife, sister, grandmother, friend and the rock of our family. She will be terribly missed.
She left behind one daughter, Susan Jean Capps; three sons, Thomas William Lawrence Jr., Darrell Lee Lawrence and Dewey Wayne Lawrence; daughter-in-law Elke Lawrence; four sisters, Lois Ann Stovalt (Titer), Linda Sue Chambers, Peggy Jo Calhoun and Joyce Marie Bodine (Marie); brother-in-law Derald (BO) Bodine; and one brother, James Alvin Chambers.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Lisa Marie Ludwig, Jennifer Jean Ludwig, Ashley Paige Hurst, Jebediah Bentley Freeman, Chelsea Lee Lawrence, Whitney Ray Grant, Nicole Marie Lawrence, Cody Mitchell Freeman and Dylan James Lawrence; seven great-grandchildren: Jacob Keith Ludwig, Gabriella Brianna Garcia, Marissa Danielle Jean Garcia, Emma Hurst, Dalyla Lynn Daniels, Mia Hurst, Kennedy Grant, and, due in May, Kylie Grace Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Leroy Still; parents, Lloyd Lawrence and Mabel Frances Chambers; sisters, Shirley Laverne Chambers and Brenda Gail Cowie; and brothers, David Paul Chambers, Daniel Mark Chambers and Lloyd Lawrence Chambers Jr. (Bubba).

A funeral to celebrate Billie's life took place Wednesday, January 16, 2012, at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in McKinney.
