Norma�s Cafe, Operation Kindness to Hold �Dog Days of Summer� Pet Adoption Event

Norma�s Cafe, the original Dallas dining icon, will team up with Operation Kindness for the �Dog Days of Summer� pet adoption event on Friday, August 24 to help raise money for the Carrollton-based no-kill shelter. The Norma�s Cafe North Dallas location at 17721 N. Dallas Parkway will welcome dogs and puppies of various breeds available for adoption from 11:30 a.m. � 1 p.m. In addition, both Norma�s Cafe locations will donate a portion of all tea sales, which includes sweet tea, unsweetened tea, tea by the glass or tea by the gallon, that will benefit the Special Needs Fund at Operation Kindness. These donations will provide urgent medical care for critically injured animals or those with serious medical issues. Norma�s Cafe guests who adopt on-site will receive a free $25 gift card to the restaurant. All adoptable pets on location will be current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and be microchipped. The adoption process is quick and simple � guests of Norma�s Cafe will be able to adopt their new pet at lunch and pick up their new family member from Operation Kindness after work.
